From 2022 to 2024, Wix's developer offering underwent a complete overhaul, establishing Wix as the new standard for efficient, flexible, and reliable advanced development. New solutions like Wix Blocks and Wix Headless were launched in quick succession, alongside significant advancements in web and app development offerings.
The product was ready, but now came the real challenge: convincing professional developers, who had deeply-rooted concerns about low-code development, to give it a try.
Developing messaging frameworks, voice, and tone:
Three new solutions—Codux, Wix Headless, and Wix Blocks—were launched, while both the general website development and app development offerings were greatly enhanced. This required creating messaging frameworks for all five development solutions on Wix, each necessitating in-depth research and unique positioning against market offerings. Each solution offered standalone value and needed a unique voice, yet also had to clearly communicate its place within the larger ecosystem.
Results:
Our efforts paid off. The page views and conversion rates on the Wix for Developers web assets soared, jumping from the second-least converting to the second-highest, behind only the primary acquisition page.
